ON4VT in WWFF … facts and figures

wwff

A little more than one year ago I started with the WWFF program (World Wide Fauna & Flora), first as hunter (ON4VT), later also as activator (OT4V/p).

So about time to review and clean up the log. I’m using HRDlog as logging software. Made custom boxes for WWFF and SOTA and made also a macro for the statistics about which and how much references worked, split up by association. I added the 4th digit to all reference numbers and double checked the worked with the WWFF logsearch confirmed references. So far the hell of a job I did …

I worked 1297 different references, 1001 are confirmed by WWFF, makes 79% confirmed. So still 21% of the activators does the effort to go out but never sends their log. Should be nice to find a reason behind this, no skills? forgotten? too difficult to submit log?

I worked references in 60 different DXCC, 53 confirmed via WWFF.

Here is the percentage of confirmed WWFF references in the countries where I think is an active association :

And about QSL’ing : 17% confirmed by LoTW and 33% confirmed by eQSL. About paper QSL no facts as to early … . Digital QSL (the most green way to QSL) is not very popular …

I hope this might be a tool for the WWFF associaton.

It’s still big fun and seeya in the pile-ups, as hunter or activator !
